I watched my tapestry being woven for me,
I watched them choosing colors
That weren't right for me.
I watched them plan my life
That's not how its supposed to be.

I want to weave my own life,
In rich and royal hue
With all the mellow colors
That no one can see through.

I'll choose a new beginning,
And choose just who'll I'll be.
This may not be suiting you
But it's good enough for me.

I want to build my own plan
With dreams and love and hope,
And all the simple pleasures
That make it easier to cope.

And when its all over
I'll end it in this way.
A smile to last eternity
For my tapestry's unraveling.
He's calling me away.
