Celebration

Regal trees bedecked
in gown of vivid green,
quiver, whispering with excitment,
as a crisp new day begins.

A tumbling crystal stream
sings in splashing rhapsody,
as birds take wing,
soaring in celebration at
the blossoming of spring.

The sun climbs slowly
to its zenith,
in the pale blue morning sky,
glowing with contentment,
at the woodlands joyous ring.
