Sprintime - Sonnet
When flowers blossom freely once again and newborn lambs lie peacefully in fields, soft April showers wash the world with rain, as fading winter finally then yields. The world awakes with great velocity, greenness proliferates at rapid speed, as nature rested starts work earnestly to warm and nourish dormant summer seed. Legions of daffodils with great delight, wave cheerfully in golden unison, the air is clear and everywhere is bright, a waking world now shivers with frisson. Come celebrate the safe return of spring, and let us with the nightingale now sing.
