As I stroll on this sunny autumn day,
enjoying nature's awesome majesty,
there is so much I feel I'd like to say,
of how our friendship means so much to me.
I wish that you were here to share this scene,
to view the tranquil beauty of this place,
fine gardens full of colour are serene,
sweet perfumes with warm breezes interlace.
Your life lived far away on distant shores,
is parallel in many ways to mine,
our friendship though has opened many doors,
and hobbies shared are constantly refined.
May friendship, which I know we hold most dear,
blossom prolifically each year.
