As Night Falls




Gently as night falls,
stars peep down in constancy,
casting silver light.
Slowly as full moon rises,
crowning night
in lunar splendour,
my heart takes wing.

Glance high above,my love,
and enveloped in romantic night,
feel the deepest peace,
as transcending time and space,
love pierces deep within your soul.
