A
Walk in The Mountains
Nature's
wondrous evening scene,
Imparts a
joy - deep and serene,
The valley
stretches far and wide,
Steep mountains
rise on either side.
The sky is
painted rich and bold
In mellow
orange streaked with gold,
Such natural
beauty reaches deep,
My spirit soars
to the mountain peak.
But I look down
into the lake,
Distorted
pictures now take shape,
I see the
mountains brown in hue,
I long to walk
there - but with you.
