Relaxing In An English Park
I love to lie in an English park,
where a vista of verdant hills,
sweeps downhill to the open sea,
where strident seagulls swoop,
gliding on a gentle breeze
skimming tall magnolia trees.
Relaxed, I gaze at vibrant flowers,
bedecked in brilliant summer dress.
Here nature's power engulfs me,
seeping deep within,
overwhelmed with beauty,
in her arms, I rest.
