Each Day
Each day with grateful heart I praise
those friends who would my spirits raise,
then thank all those who constantly,
abundant kindness show to me.
When I feel low, I do not shout,
but think of friends and seek them out,
knowing that they will certainly,
abundant kindness show to me.
Whatever problems now assail,
I know they cannot long prevail,
lifted by those who readily,
abundant kindness show to me.
Life's journey, often tortuous,
can never become tedious,
when vivacious friends with energy,
abundant kindness show to me.
Thank you each and every one,
your radiance like the noonday sun,
blesses my life, especially
abundant kindness shown to me.
