Cat and Mouse - Haiku

Stealthily she stands,
rigid white paw raised - waiting.....
killer instinct honed.

Night creature nibbles,
in short-lived contentment, poor
unsuspecting mouse.

Beguiling nature,
her undisputed beauty,
hides a darker side.
