A cactus has sharp,
prickly thorns that,
can pierce and hurt, .
when touched. But they,
are there to protect.
the plant, so we musn't
mind too much. Its flowers,
are bright and beautiful
and reward us with showy colours.
Life my friends, is much like
that, with some sad prickly hours,
but we must look forward to
later spells filled with
happiness like bright flowers.
