Lord I Give Praise

Lord, I give praise;
for summer days
and walks in
wooded shade

For evenings under
a moon lit sky
and for a billion
glittering stars
that dance so high

But most of all,
I give praise for
friends old and new,
for without them Lord,
it would be just me and you.
